Eloorac is less the name of a company than the name of a new transport system. This was presented by Carsten Böttcher from Rietberg at the joint booth “Junge Innovative Unternehmen” (Young Innovative Companies) sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Eligible for funding are companies that present new product and process developments, have their headquarters and business operations in Germany, employ less than 50 people, are younger than ten years and have an annual turnover of 10 million euros or less.

The Eloorac transport rack was developed as a returnable system for the upright transport of glass doors on Euro pallets. In this way, depending on the size of the doors, 30 to 50 percent of the loading and storage area can be saved, resulting in considerable savings in transport costs and emissions. In the meantime, Eloorac has expanded the system for all panel-shaped elements, supplemented it with practical accessories and applied for a worldwide patent. (Photo: Nuremberg Fair/Frank Boxler)
